If you’ve ever searched for a gaming guide, clicked on a promising headline, and then spent five minutes scrolling through information that never actually answered your question, you’re not alone.

I’ve been there too.

In fact, experiences like that are one of the reasons Baskingamer exists today.

This website wasn’t created in a boardroom, by a media company, or because someone spotted a business opportunity in gaming. It started much more simply than that.

It started with a gamer.

A gamer who spent years playing games, following gaming news, discussing updates with friends, reading reviews, watching showcases, and constantly searching for information about the hobby he loved.

That gamer is me, Bejoy Naduvilathara Joy.

And this is the story behind Baskingamer.

Where It All Started

Gaming has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Long before Baskingamer existed, I was simply another player excited about the next game release, the next update, or the next world waiting to be explored.

Over the years, I’ve played across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Android. Each platform introduced me to different communities, different experiences, and different ways of enjoying games.

Some of my favorite gaming memories come from competitive FPS matches where every second mattered.

Others come from getting completely lost in massive open-world adventures.

Sometimes it was surviving impossible situations with friends. Other times it was spending hours exploring mechanics, discovering secrets, or simply enjoying a well-designed game.

That’s one of the things I love most about gaming.

No matter how long you’ve been playing, there’s always something new to experience.

A new world, A new challenge, A new story, A new idea.

And that feeling never really goes away.

Why Baskingamer Exists

At its core, Baskingamer exists for a very simple reason.

Gamers deserve better content.

Not longer content, not louder content.

Better content.

Content that respects your time, content that gets to the point, content that helps you understand what’s happening in the gaming world without making you dig through paragraphs of unnecessary filler.

As both a gamer and a reader, I often noticed the same problems appearing across gaming websites.

Headlines that promised one thing but delivered another.

Rumors presented as facts.

Guides that never actually solved the problem.

Reviews that felt disconnected from what players were really experiencing.

After seeing those issues over and over again, I stopped asking why nobody was fixing them.

Instead, I decided to try building something myself.

That’s how Baskingamer began.

Not as a company, not as a brand, but as an idea.

An idea built around creating the type of gaming website I personally wanted to read.

Our Mission

The mission behind Baskingamer hasn’t changed since day one.

Help gamers stay informed without wasting their time.

Every article published on this website should do at least one of the following:

Right now, Baskingamer is an independent gaming publication.

That’s the present.

The future is bigger.

The long-term vision extends beyond articles, reviews, and guides.

I want Baskingamer to grow into a broader gaming ecosystem that includes community-driven projects, creative experiments, educational content, gaming tools, and eventually original game development initiatives.

Projects such as Pixoptimo represent part of that journey, combining technology, creativity, design, and innovation.

Over time, future game development projects may also emerge under the Baskingamer umbrella as dedicated sub-brands built around the same passion that started everything.

Will that happen tomorrow?

Probably not.

Great games take time to build، لreat communities do too.

But every meaningful journey starts somewhere.

This is ours.
